You will be working on the inspection and basic repair of wooden pallets. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that involves:
Inspecting pallets for damage or wear
Carrying out basic pallet repairs using hand tools
Meeting daily production targets for inspected pallets
Moving and lifting pallets (labour-intensive but supported by production line systems to assist with handling)
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
The work is physical, but not overly strenuous – the site is well equipped to support manual handling where possible.
Monday to Friday – Rotating Shifts:
6:00am – 2:00pm
2:00pm – 10:00pm
£12.21 per hour
£1.00 per hour attendance bonus – paid weekly if you attend all scheduled shifts
Production bonus – earn extra after hitting achievable targets
First 2 weeks – full paid training provided
12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
Physically fit and able to lift/move pallets throughout the shift
Good work ethic and reliable attendance
Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Health and safety conscious
Previous experience in a labouring, production or warehouse environment is useful but not essential – full training is given
